Prairie AI Works, a Prairie Works company based in Govan, Saskatchewan, runs this website. This page explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

When you contact us

If you send the form on this site, we receive what you enter: your name, your business if you give it, your phone number and email, what you're interested in, how you'd like to meet, and your message. It comes to us by email so we can get back to you. If you call or text us, we have your phone number and whatever you tell us.

When you visit

We run our own simple analytics on our own server. For each page view it records:

• the page, and the page or site that sent you here;
• your browser type and your IP address, which we use to filter out bots and to see roughly which city visits come from;
• which of our ads you came from, if any (the src tag in the link);
• whether you started or sent the form, or tapped to call or text us.

A cookie called pw_sid holds a random ID so we can tell a return visit from a new one. It lasts a year and isn't used for anything else.

This site doesn't use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising scripts. We don't sell or rent personal information.

Our ads

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta runs those ads under its own privacy policy. From Meta we see totals, such as how many people saw or clicked an ad, never who they were. We don't send Meta anything about your visit to this site.

How we use it

To reply to you and follow up about your enquiry, to understand which pages and ads are useful, to keep the site working and free of bots, and to meet legal obligations. Nothing else.

Who else handles it

Only the services that carry it for us, such as our email provider and our hosting, and anyone the law requires us to share it with. We don't share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept as long as we're in touch with you and for our business records after that. Analytics records are kept only as long as they're useful for understanding the site.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing info@prairieaiworks.com or calling (639) 638-7311. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser; the site works fine without them.

Clients of our platform

If you use our client platform at app.prairieai.works, the agreement we have with your business covers how that information is handled.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
